The Welsh Neck Baptist Church was located at Society Hill. South Carolina in Darlington County.
In the year 1737 a party of immigrants from the Welsh Tract in the State of Delaware removed to Pee Dee River South Carolina , which place they designated the Welsh Neck in remembrance of their former residence.
