Scotch-Irish Trail to South Carolina

Subscribe and view records
If you have always heard that you are Irish, it is likely that your ancestors were Scotch-Irish and came from Antrim, Ireland, to Pennsylvania, then followed the trail through Schenandoah and Augusta County Virginia into South Carolina. This was the immigrant trail for the Scotch-Irish.  From there, they finally settled in Laurens and Chester Counties, South Carolina where descendants remain. The will records for these two counties are found on www.southcarolinapioneers.net. To see what is available, check on "what'swhat".
