Clements of Hanover (Bedford County) Virginia and Lexington District, South Carolina.

The lineage begins with John Clements, born ca 1655/1660 in Hanover County, Virginia, died 1748 in Hanover County. This lineage has mistakenly been linked back to the Gloucester County Clements, but DNA results disprove a connection. Therefore, we will begin with John Clements who married 1st, Elizabeth Terry? and 2nd, Isabell Simon. His LWT named three sons, viz: William, John and Stephen.
