Two Scotch-Irish families finished their long journey when they arrived in western Georgia, Bone and Adair (Odear). During the 18th century large groups of emigrants from Antrim Ireland came first to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, then to Frederick Co, Virginia, through Augusta County and the Shenandoah Valley, trinking on down into Chester, York and Laurens Counties, South Carolina, and finally to Madison, Paulding and Jackson Counties, Georgia.
